Washington state fishermen can learn how to effectively treat hypothermia, near-drowning and accidents at sea during a Nov. 4 workshop at the Seattle Fishermen’s Terminal.

Sponsored by Washington Sea Grant and the Port of Seattle Fishermen’s Terminal, the Coast Guard-Approved First Aid at Sea Course runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Nordby Conference Room

• Shock and trauma
