Crab fishermen are on strike in San Francisco and it's impacting the seafood business in Monterey.

“We just don't have as much as we usually have,” said Gaspar Catanzaro with Monterey Fish Co.

Catanzaro said all of Monterey Fish Co.’s crab is coming from the Monterey Bay but before the strike it was also buying crab from San Francisco.

The strike started Wednesday in Humbold County and moved south to San Francisco. The dispute got started after crabbers say a large buyer, Pacific Choice, tried to renegotiate the price per pound from $3.00 to $2.75.
