A Coast Guard swimmer saved four fisherman stranded on a life raft near Cape Blanco early Tuesday.

Petty Officer 2nd Class Darren Harrity, 27, swam a total of 1,750 yards in 57-degree water and 30-mph winds to pull each man one at a time from their life raft to shore, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.
