Crew members and dock workers interested in determining their eligibility for a slice of $3 million in federal fishing disaster funds can have their questions answered at today's workshop at the Division of Marine Fisheries' Annisquam Station office on Emerson Avenue.

The workshop, scheduled to run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., is designed to provide information, applications and assistance for Massachusetts-based crew members, lumpers and dock workers who worked in commercial fishing-related jobs from 2010 through 2013.

The guidelines for eligibility are: Applicants must have earned at least $5,000 from Massachusetts-based fishing-related jobs in any one year between 2010 and 2013 and be able to verify that work accounted for at least 50 percent of their income during the applicable period.
