Anchor Hatches began as P&E Manufacturing, established in 1988 as a local welding, machining, and metal fabrication shop. In 1995, they expanded to manufacture access hatches for fishing boats due to the local demand and connection to nearby boatbuilders on the North Atlantic coast.

P&E had great customer feedback, which hastened their way into their marine division, which they called Anchor Hatches. The ENDURE Long Lasting Hatches are not only a stable investment but a sleek and solid addition to any commercial fishing vessel. These hatches are made of ¼” marine grade 5086 anodized aluminum cover and 1/8” stainless steel frame. Through the design process, Anchor Hatch manufacturers ensured that the metals did not touch to prevent premature corrosion.

The low profile and flush-mounted design make for a safer deck, and all hatches are tested at the facility to ensure no leaks before packaging. The stainless-steel frame and locking mechanism are corrosion-resistant and built for the harshest seas. There are eight standard sizes, and custom sizes are available upon request. Shipped with replaceable double-lip EPDM gasket and a T-wrench.
