With the fall shrimping season winding down, shrimpers have seen two things, a small crop, that's mostly smaller in size.

 

According to authorities with the Port of Delcambre that has hurt many shrimpers. They say fisherman often have a hard time making a living on small shrimp seasons. That mixed with a shrimp shortage globally, has prompted Delcambre Direct Seafood to help fill in the gap by selling their local shrimp in larger markets like Rouses.
