BAYOU LA BATRE, Ala. (WKRG)- An Alabama seafood labeling bill is now making its way to the Senate for full consideration after the Senate Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry Committee approved the bill Wednesday.

This bill could impact fishermen’s lives on the Gulf Coast. According to the Mayor of Bayou La Batre, the Alabama Seafood capital has seen a downward spiral in the past two years.
