BELLEVUE, WASH. -- - A wrecked semi brought traffic to a halt and made crab fall from the sky on Monday. It was a spectacle that was hard to turn away from, especially for Takako Yamamoto. Yamamoto is the Chief Operating Officer for Marine Treasures International Corp., and she was watching a live stream of the accident scene along State Route 99 from her Bellevue office.
“We were just screaming here. You know all of our colleagues were watching that video, and we were just crying. It’s too much,” said Yamamoto.
The semi had been carrying hundreds of boxes of frozen king crab that belonged to Yamamoto’s company.
