Notus has released the ECHO wireless shrimp detection system, the only system of its kind on the market. Based on more than 25 years’ experience working with commercial fishermen and responding to their needs, Notus offers solutions that provide reliable, real-time data and convenience of use.

Unique Notus technology boasts two-way communication, allowing fishermen to hear the shrimp as they go through the grate.

“It’s awesome! Worked right out of the box” reports Capt. Jimmy Burns of F/V Galway Bay. “I can see if I’m catching 500 pounds per hour or 2000 pounds per hour.”

A condenser microphone listens to the shrimp hitting the grate. A sensor transmits the information back to the vessel wirelessly. Grate angle and sound capabilities are standard functions inside the sensor, with upgradable features including temperature and depth capabilities.

The Notus ECHO system provides optimal performance for superior results.
