The landings and value of the commercial fishing catch landed in Cape Cod harbors are on the rise. The value of harvests landed in town increased from $3.2 million to $4.7 million between 2018 and 2021.
The Cape Cod Fishermen’s Alliance is partnering with the state Division of Marine Fisheries (DMF) and the University of Massachusetts Boston’s Urban Harbors Institute to provide a port by port overview of commercial fishing in the commonwealth, describing conditions in each municipality with a commercial fishing home port.
