ACT Capital Advisors, a U.S.-based middle market investment bank, has announced the launch of its seafood enterprise valuation practice. The new division will provide specialized business valuations for companies across the seafood supply chain, including wild-caught and aquaculture harvesting, processing, distribution, and retail.
The practice will be led by industry veterans Matthew Latimer and Brad Bodenman. According to the firm, the pair bring extensive experience in the seafood sector and will focus on delivering accurate, custom-tailored valuations to support mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, and other strategic business needs.
“The seafood industry presents unique challenges and opportunities,” said Bodenman. “Our practice provides custom-tailored valuation services designed to meet the specific needs of this dynamic industry.”
Latimer added that reliable valuations are critical for stakeholders looking to buy, sell, or raise capital. “Our focus will be on delivering credible valuations to help our clients achieve their strategic objectives,” he said.
ACT Capital Advisors CEO Bob Hild described the move as a targeted effort to support niche markets. “With Latimer and Bodenman at the helm, I am confident that our Seafood Enterprise Valuation Practice will become a valuable resource for seafood businesses looking to leverage their business potential,” Hild said.
