The FFAW disagrees with processors regarding the resumption of the commercial cod fishery.
With DFO recently moving the northern cod stock from critical to the cautious zone, the Atlantic Groundfish Council and Icewater Seafoods are calling for the commercial fishery, which was shut down in 1992, to resume on a limited basis.
