The Pacific Marine Expo, the West Coast’s largest and longest-running commercial marine trade show, will return to the Lumen Field Event Center this fall from Thursday, November 20, through Saturday, November 22, 2025.

Organizers promise a refreshed lineup that reflects the evolving needs and priorities of the commercial marine industry.

With new programming, features, and expanded special events, the 2025 Expo is set to be one of the most dynamic and inclusive editions in its more than 50-year history. Thousands of commercial fishermen, vessel operators, shipbuilders, and maritime professionals are expected to gather in Seattle for the annual industry event.

“We’re thrilled to be bringing back so much of what our Pacific Marine Expo community loves, while creating new experiences that align with where the industry is headed,” said Wes Doane, group vice president at Diversified. “From sustainability and innovation to workforce development and industry celebrations, PME 2025 will have something meaningful for everyone who makes their living on the water.”

Returning favorites include the Alaska Hall, happy hours, product demonstrations, and a robust schedule of free educational content — from technical sessions to keynotes and panels — curated by National Fisherman. The Expo Market Center will showcase maritime-themed goods, art, apparel, and handmade items from small and local vendors.

In a notable shift, the National Fisherman Highliner Awards — a long-standing PME tradition — will now take place as a ticketed dinner celebration on Day 2 to bring back the dinner, a fan favorite, to honor leaders across the commercial fishing sector.

The show will once again feature WorkBoat West, a dedicated section focused on vessel construction, shipyards, and repair, alongside the return of the Maritime Blue Innovations Hub, in partnership with Washington Maritime Blue. This space will highlight sustainable maritime solutions and forward-thinking startups.

A key new offering will be the Fishing Vessel Stability Workshop presented by the Alaska Marine Safety Education Association (AMSEA). These 30-minute hands-on sessions will help fishermen understand and apply key principles of vessel stability, and early sign-ups are encouraged once registration opens.

PME is committed to building the next generation of maritime professionals. In partnership with the Port of Seattle, the show will again welcome maritime high school students and other youth-focused groups to explore careers in the commercial marine world.

“With renewed energy and fresh programming, 2025 is shaping up to be a standout year at Pacific Marine Expo,” said Lauren Streeter, event director. “It’s an ideal opportunity for companies to showcase their brand, engage directly with key decision-makers, strengthen community ties, and celebrate the commercial marine industry.”

Exhibit sales are now open, and attendee registration will launch in late summer 2025. To stay up to date or inquire about sponsorship opportunities, visit https://www.pacificmarineexpo.com/
