Petersburg is home to one of the top fishing fleets in the world, and one of the finest ports of call in Southeast Alaska. Business or pleasure, the harbors are geared to offer you what you need. Petersburg’s three modern harbors are just a short walk from downtown. The port, naturally sheltered from high winds by the local geography, is recognized as one of the friendliest in Southeast Alaska.

Harbor rates are competitive, phone access and electricity is available, and boaters will find grocery stores, restaurants and a laundromat within easy walking distance. Boaters will also find services available from local shipwrights and fuel stations.  Whether you are stopping in for a visit or need some quick professional repair work, the Port of Petersburg provides a variety of marine services to meet your needs. The harbor features 650 berths and accommodates a maximum vessel size of 140 feet.

The harbors are owned and maintained by the Borough of Petersburg, Ports and Harbors. To reach the harbor staff, they stand by on VHF Channel 16, CB-9 or call (907) 772-4688. Please check in with the harbor when you arrive.
