Dutch Harbor

Dutch Harbor is a harbor on Amaknak Island in Unalaska, Alaska, sitting in the heart of the North Pacific and Bering Sea fisheries.

Dutch Harbor is on the northern end of Unalaska Island, the second largest island in the Aleutian Chain, roughly 900 miles southwest of Anchorage.

Dutch Harbour is ranked as a top fishing port with more than a billion dollars transferred each year. Huge harvests of pollock and cod in the Bering Sea are part of this total. The Bering Sea is known for having one of the world’s largest continental shelves.
