Video: Salmon cross Washington road

SHELTON, Wash., Nov. 8 (UPI) — Salmon are well known to swim upstream, but a Washington state man captured them showing off an even more impressive skill: Swimming across the road.

Terrence J Allison posted a video to YouTube showing salmon taking advantage of slight flooding on a Shelton road over the Skokomish River.

The video shows the salmon scurrying through mere inches of water to reach their spawning area on the other side of the road.
