Harvey Crow, crew member of the Quandary, raises the Christ Pennant on the ship while Pastors Laurie A Jones, left, and Erik R. Wilson Weiberg of Ballard First Lutheran Church preside over the 86th annual Blessing of the Fleet at the Fishermen's Memorial site of Fishermen's Terminal Sunday March 9, 2014. The Quandary, a purse seiner owned by Tom Pawlak of Port Townsend, was the boat to receive the blessing for the fleet, as many ships start to take off for the sometimes-dangerous duty of commercial fishing. The Quandary leaves tomorrow for Sitka, Alaska to fish salmon until around Labor Day.
