It's been a tough year for the seafood industry. Shellfish in particular have been hard to find and prices are going up.

 

“We can’t adjust our prices as quickly as the cost of shrimp has gone up,” said David Dekle, co-owner of the Oyster House.

 

Wednesday people in the seafood industry met to discuss some of the challenges they are facing and possible solutions to those challenges at the second annual Alabama Seafood Summit.
