CHATHAM —Never Enough, a 40-foot fishing boat captained by Bruce Kaminski, ran aground opposite the Chatham Coast Guard station near the treacherous inlet bar Wednesday morning. But the boat and the captain were rescued.

“At approximately 7:30 a fishing vessel going outbound, the Sea Hound, reported the Never Enough was on the bar grounded,” Coast Guard petty officer Kelly Zimmerman, second class boson’s mate, explained. “It was opposite the Coast Guard station. We could walk out on the front lawn and see the vessel.”

Kaminski has piloted Never Enough for 30 years, primarily seeking cod and haddock and also dogfish. He’s a member of the Fisherman’s Alliance in Chatham. With the boat being repaired it looks like he’ll be back on the water.
