OWLS HEAD, Maine —Talk about a rare find. Two rare albino lobsters were caught off the Maine coast in the past week.
The lobsters were brought to the Owls Head Lobster Company in Owls Head.
According to Elizabeth Watkinson, one of the owners of Owls Head Lobster Company, lobsterman Bert Philbrick caught one of the lobsters on Thursday, and lobsterman Joe Bates caught the other lobster last week.
The University of Maine's Lobster Institute says the odds of catching a single albino lobster are 1 in 100 million.
