They might be turning Japanese. They really think so.

Two Gloucester fishermen could be on their way to Japan later this year or early in 2015 as part of a British television production company's fishing reality TV series pitting American tuna fishermen against their Japanese counterparts in a clash of fishing cultures on the high seas.

Johnny Johnson, the driving force behind the Gloucester Charter Connection and captain of Subdivider, and Steve Zelck, the first mate on Subdivider, have had one round of interviews with executives of London-based Raw TV about appearing on the show if it gets greenlighted.
