Eysteinn Örn Garðarsson has been a fisherman for 16 year and caught both a shark and a flounder, but never seen any fish like the one he caught last Friday.

“This is like winning the Lottery”, Eysteinn told visir.is. “I saw something big was coming up, so I was ready, but this was extremely heavy.” He is working on Ágúst CK 95, a boat working out of Grindavík.

It turns out that he had caught a fish that was always as big as himself, a 50 kilogram (110 pounds) cod.
