Hampton, Va., firefighters battled blazes at a seafood packaging warehouse and commercial fishing boat in the 100 block of King Street in downtown Sunday morning. Two people suffered minor injuries as a result of the blaze, and the warehouse was heavily damaged, according to a fire official.
Fire crews responded to a fire alarm at the Amory Seafood warehouse around 8:20 a.m. and received several calls reporting a large fire soon after.
Division spokesman Anthony Chittum said arriving crews saw heavy smoke and called in the blaze as a second-alarm fire, bringing out most of the division's firefighters.
