COLUMBIA — The shrimp season is expanding in South Carolina.

 

The Department of Natural Resources says commercial shrimpers are being allowed to catch shrimp in state waters beginning Tuesday morning.

 

Shrimpers had been allowed to begin catching shrimp in federal waters more than three miles offshore on May 1.
