SOUTH PADRE ISLAND -- Four fishermen from Mexico who were rescued after their boat sank in the Gulf of Mexico about 22 miles from South Padre Island, Texas are in good condition, U.S. Coast Guard officials said Thursday in Corpus Christi.

A tanker crew spotted two men clinging to a capsized Mexican fishing boat Wednesday night and notified the Coast Guard.

A Coast Guard helicopter crew located the men and dropped a life raft.

The two men told rescuers about the other two who were missing.
