Fishmongers from Pike Place Fish Market show off their aerial stunts by tossing salmon to Woodland Park Zoo's 750 pound grizzly bears. The salmon toss to the grizzlies is to promote the zoo's annual Bear Affair: Pacific Northwest Conservation on June 8th. Former Massachusetts state fishery scientist Steven Correia received the New England Fishery Management Council’s Janice Plante Award of Excellence for 2016 at its meeting last week.

Correia was employed by the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries for over 30 years.
