The art of fishing: Wolf Tide
Bristol Bay and "Deadliest Catch" fisherman cum photographer Corey Arnold's latest showing opens at Santa Monica's Richard Heller Gallery on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, 5 to 7 p.m.
The Wolf Tide exhibition, which runs through March 31, documents Arnold's global adventures in the Bering Sea, Europe, South Africa, the Atlantic and the Arctic. He has spent more than 15 seasons commercial fishing in Alaska and frequently travels abroad chronicling the lifestyle of commercial fishermen, a project entitled Fish-Work. Arnold resides in Portland, Ore., and is a setnet skipper in Bristol Bay, Alaska.
