15% commission to accredited advertising agencies. No commission on accounts unpaid 60 days from billing date. Agencies must supply material in the form of digital files and also provide an approved color proof as outlined in the Material Specifications section on the reverse side of this rate card.
Advertiser and agency assume joint liability for payment of all debt incurred by agency on behalf of an advertiser. Space billed to an agency and unpaid 60 days after billing may be rebilled directly to the advertiser.
Net 30 days from invoice date. We reserve the right to charge 1.5% monthly interest on unpaid balances over 30 days old. First-time advertisers must pre-pay first insertion, unless pre-approved by our Credit Manager. Credit applications are required of all new advertisers and agencies. A 5% discount off the gross price may be taken if payment is accompanied with insertion order. Any account sent to an Outside Collection or Legal Agency will be responsible for the fees charged in collecting the money owed. We reserve the right to put a hold on future advertising for any advertiser whose account is 90 days past due. These accounts may be sent to a Collection Agency. We must have signed authorization for all insertions for advertising.
Advertisers and advertising agencies agree to indemnify and protect the publisher from any claims or expenses resulting from the advertiser's unauthorized use of any name, photograph, sketch, or words protected by copyright or registered trademark. The publisher reserves the right to reject any advertising.
Full ad price will be charged for any cancellations after space closing date. Verbal commitments to advertise are confirmed in writing by publisher and are binding. Advertising placed by written contract is protected for term of contract after announcement of any rate increase. Contracts may be cancelled by either party with 30 days written notice, except cover positions which require 60 days written notice. Cancellation of a contract must be in writing and is subject to short-rate. Publisher does not guarantee: key changes or copy changes received after copy closing date, ad index listing, reader service numbers, or ads supplied with incorrect dimensions or otherwise not conforming to the mechanical requirements stated in this rate card.
